About the Role At Uber, we don’t just use tools; we build the engines that power global movement. As an Application Developer for Work Management, you are at the heart of our productivity, designing and building the Atlassian-based systems that keep thousands of Uber employees aligned and moving fast. This isn't just about managing Jira tickets—it's about engineering intelligent, integrated ecosystems. The pace here is intense, the systems are massive, and the stakes are high. You’ll navigate complex technical debt and architect solutions for problems that don’t have a playbook. We need a systems-level thinker with the grit to dive into enterprise-scale configurations and the curiosity to leverage GenAI and Rovo Agents to redefine what’s possible. If you stay calm under pressure and care deeply about building tools that actually work at scale, this is where you’ll thrive. What You’ll Do Build and Scale: Design and optimize Jira and Confluence environments that support how our teams move in the real world—where performance and reliability are non-negotiable. Develop Custom Solutions: Build secure, scalable cloud applications directly within the Atlassian ecosystem, where your hands-on experience with Atlassian Forge app development and the Forge platform will be a distinct advantage. Intuit is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Analytics Lead (Senior Staff Data Scientist) to join our People Data & Analytics team. Our team partners closely with Intuit's HR leaders, COEs, and business partners to deliver data-driven insights that shape our people strategies and elevate decision-making across the company. We are looking for a strong Senior Staff Data Scientist to lead Talent Acquisition analytics strategy. As Talent Acquisition analytics has moved past descriptive reporting, this lead position will drive overall TA analytics strategy focusing on hiring forecasting, talent funnel conversion modeling, and defining and delivering AI-native use cases and prototypes across data & analytics. This role plays a key part in supporting major HR initiatives, including workforce planning and organizational effectiveness. This individual will build trust in TA's data, both in Avature and in the data lake, and translate that trust into a strategic understanding of the talent data ecosystem that strengthens TA's ability to meet business hiring needs and deliver on operational excellence. This is not purely a technical role. It requires the business acumen and leadership presence to connect insights across the full candidate and employee lifecycle - bringing hiring, attrition, and internal mobility together - and to operate as a trusted advisor to TA leadership, shaping the questions as well as answering them. It also means bringing an external lens into TA: benchmarking Intuit's hiring funnel, forecasting approach, and recruiter productivity against industry standards, so TA's methods keep pace with where the broader market is headed. Working across the broader People Analytics team, you will partner on Talent Acquisition data products, analytics, and models combining hands-on analysis with the advisory judgment to turn findings into decisions. Responsibilities Data & Analytics Roadmap Design & Execution Translate TA and business strategy into analytical problems, self-generating hypotheses from the data and validating or disproving them to produce recommendations that inform hiring and workforce decisions across multiple initiatives. Develop, maintain, and socialize the Talent Acquisition Data & Analytics roadmap, reflecting a prioritized inventory of the current and upcoming work, and drive the business case for the investments it implies. Define the metrics that hold TA and business leaders accountable for hiring strength and requisition governance, at the function level rather than the individual report level. Combine insights, business acumen, and strategic considerations to influence Director-level and above stakeholders, translating complex analysis into a narrative leaders will act on rather than simply report against. Connect insights across the candidate and employee lifecycle, bringing hiring, attrition, and internal mobility together into a single view. Bring external analytics benchmarking and TA industry best practices into Intuit, so forecasting, funnel, and recruiter-productivity work is informed by where the broader market and competitors are heading, not only by internal history. Strategy and Measurement for AI-Native Experiences Ideate and scope AI use cases within Talent Acquisition by connecting industry-wide developments in AI with strategic insight, customer knowledge, and TA domain knowledge, from ideation through measurement. Influence cross-functional partners in creating a development plan for those use cases, and define success metrics that connect model performance to hiring and business outcomes. Provide thought partnership on phased testing and rollout of AI-native experiences, with the right measurement in place at each stage. Drive requirements for scaled solutions including automated insights, dashboards, and reporting that support TA leadership, recruiters, HR, and Finance. Own TA's data governance framework across Avature and the data lake, ensuring data quality, cleanliness, and readiness for AI and advanced analytics. Inference and Algorithms Build and evolve hiring forecast and funnel conversion models, applying predictive and causal inference techniques to identify trends, friction points, and opportunities to improve hiring outcomes. Manage the end-to-end aspects of complex analytics model builds, from scope and requirements through stakeholder management and delivery, for work that drives function-level decisions. Partner on recruiter capacity and productivity analytics, bringing recommendations that sharpen capacity planning and target-setting accuracy, and designing new models where the current approach leaves gaps. Identify new methodologies and external trends and adapt them to TA use cases, creating shareable frameworks that clarify when and how a new approach should be used. Collaborate across TA, People Analytics Research Team, Finance, and other stakeholders to share knowledge and build scalable, enterprise-ready solutions. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in People Analytics, including data science roles, with 5+ years supporting Talent Acquisition analytics. Proven experience partnering closely with Talent Acquisition leadership to maintain an end-to-end analytics roadmap, and leading cross-functional analytics initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across HR, technology, and business. Demonstrated expertise in building and interpreting hiring models, including predictive and forecast models, and applied experience with causal inference methods such as propensity score, difference-in-differences, or synthetic control, with clarity on when each applies. Advanced SQL and fluency in Python or R, with genuine hands-on comfort with data wrangling and analysis. Experience scoping and measuring AI-native experiences, with a clear approach to measurement at each stage of phased testing and rollout, and fluency in how model performance metrics connect to business outcomes. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders as an advisor, with the judgment to determine how much analysis a decision requires and the credibility to stand behind a recommendation. The judgment to connect hiring, attrition, and internal mobility signals into a single lifecycle view rather than treating TA analytics as a siloed function, and to know when a question calls for a deeper model versus a fast, directional read that unblocks a leadership decision. Experience working with Avature or other related ATS systems. Demonstrated ownership of data governance frameworks and data quality standards, including making an imperfect data source trustworthy and keeping it that way. Passion for enabling data-driven, equitable people processes that foster growth and inclusion. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits ). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: Mountain View $210,500 - $284,500

Front is the customer operations platform built for B2B complexity, keeping every team, tool, and customer conversation in sync so companies can scale without losing connection. Others handle simple interactions. Front handles the coordination and context behind complex B2B customer relationships. Over 9,000 companies, including Uber Freight, Navan, and Stripe, rely on Front because it's the only one that can run the operational layer that makes customer-facing work actually succeed. Backed by Sequoia Capital and Salesforce Ventures, Front has raised $204M from leading venture capital firms and independent investors including top executives at Atlassian, Okta, Qualtrics, Zoom, and PagerDuty. Front has received numerous Great Place to Work accolades, including Built In's 100 Best Midsize Places to Work in SF 2025 , Top Places to Work by USA Today 2025 , Y Combinator's list of Top Companies in 2023 , #4 on Fortune’s Best Workplaces in the Bay Area™ , Inc. Magazine's 2022 Best Workplaces list , and Forbes Best Startup Employers 2022 List . Front is building a serious amount of software for itself. GTM Engineers are shipping internal tools and AI agents on top of Salesforce, Gong, Snowflake, Workato, Notion and Claude — automations that our revenue teams now depend on to do their jobs. That software needs somewhere reliable and secure to run. You'll decide how internal software at Front gets built, deployed, secured and operated — the standards, the reference architecture, the review bar — and then you'll implement them yourself and keep them alive as the estate grows. There is no separate team to hand a standards document to. Writing it and building it are the same job. We're hiring for opinions. If you've built a platform practice from nothing before and have views on what good looks like — where to put the guardrails, which conventions are worth enforcing, what to automate before it becomes a habit — we want to hear them in the interview, not after you start. Strong opinions include knowing when to adopt rather than invent: you'll partner closely with our product engineering org and take what already works there. Your users are other engineers, and your job is measured by how fast and safely they can move. You'll report into Corporate IT and work day to day alongside the GTM Systems, Data and product engineering teams whose tooling and engineers the platform depends on. What will you be doing? Define how we build and run internal software Set the standards for internal engineering at Front: how services are structured and deployed, how environments and secrets work, what gets logged, what 'production-ready' means for an internal tool. Write them down, and make the documented path the easiest path. Partner with our product engineering org and inherit their tooling, patterns and processes wherever they apply to internal platforms. Front already runs production software well — the goal is to extend that foundation to internal systems, not to build a second one. Diverge where internal systems genuinely differ, and be able to say why. Define the reference architecture for internal systems and the security requirements every internal tool has to meet before it touches governed data. Own the review bar. Decide what needs review, what can ship freely, and be the person who says no when something isn't ready — with a clear reason and a path forward. Keep the standards honest as things change. Revisit them when they cause friction, retire the ones that stopped earning their keep, and don't let the documentation drift from what's actually running. Bring your own opinions and build consensus for them across GTM Systems, Data, Enterprise Security and Legal. You'll need those teams to adopt what you define, which means persuading rather than mandating. Own the infrastructure Own the cloud infrastructure our internal tools and AI systems run on AWS & Snowflake: compute, networking, data stores, DNS, certificates. Define infrastructure as code and get us to the point where nothing meaningful is provisioned by hand. Manage state, modules, and drift. Own environments — production, staging and whatever local story we give engineers — and make them consistent enough that 'it worked in staging' means something. Run the observability stack: metrics, logs, traces and alerting that engineers can self-serve, and that tell you about a problem before a user does. Own platform cost. Right-size infrastructure and AI/warehouse consumption, attribute spend to the teams and tools driving it, and flag anomalies before they become finance conversations. [TBD: annual spend under management] Build the paved road Build and maintain CI/CD so GTM Engineers can ship without asking you: pipelines, test and scan gates, deploy and rollback. Provide golden paths — templates, base images, shared modules and libraries — so the standard way to build something is also the secure, observable, cost-sane way. Own secrets architecture: centralized storage, scoped short-lived credentials, and rotation that happens without a human remembering. Reduce toil through automation and self-service. Every request you make unnecessary is worth more than the one you fulfill. Secure the platform and the code that runs on it Own security of the infrastructure and SDLC for internal systems: IaC scanning, container and image hygiene, dependency and supply-chain scanning, secret detection, and CI/CD pipeline hardening. Harden cloud configuration against a defined baseline (CIS or equivalent), track drift, and remediate before someone else finds it. Run vulnerability management for platform infrastructure and internal application dependencies — scanning, triage, prioritization, patch coordination and verification against agreed SLAs. Be the security review on new infrastructure, integrations and AI tooling before they touch governed data, and keep an accurate inventory of what is connected to what. Design access and network boundaries so a compromised internal tool has a small blast radius. Enforce least privilege on the infrastructure layer. Respond when an incident touches your systems: containment, evidence preservation, and coordination with Enterprise Security, who own corporate detection and incident command. Own security monitoring/alerting across platform, integration layer and AI clients; build and tune detections for anomalous query patterns, unusual data egress, off-hours access, privilege escalation. Monitor audit logs from AI, Workato and the MCP layer and triaging signal from noise and build automations to trigger alerts. Define and implement Data loss prevention controls on paths where governed data leaves — including AI client responses and downstream exports. Compliance, incident response and RBAC Maintain and rehearse incident runbooks and tabletop exercises for named scenarios: leaked credentials, over-broad access grants, prompt-injection data disclosure, third-party integration compromise. Assist our GRC team with evidence collection for SOC 2, ISO, and any other relevant compliance frameworks. Scope reviews and access audits on a predictable cadence for MCP, Workato and AI client integrations. Respond to access requests and access incidents; removing standing access in favor of just-in-time. Partner with GTM Systems and Data teams to define access requirements for various data types across systems using RBAC, ABAC, or hybrid access control models. Partner with our internal IAM team to implement joiner-mover-leaver (JML) automations and leverage existing access governance tools for periodic access reviews. AI client layer Provide escalation support for troubleshooting MCP and tool integrations with our AI clients (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, etc.). Maintain semantic layer configuration — tool definitions, schema descriptions, semantic views. Treat unauthorized exposure through an AI client as a security incident, not a bug. Root-causing data quality complaints. Keep it running, and keep engineers unblocked Operate the AI and data plumbing that internal tools consume — Workato recipes, MCP connectors, Snowflake access paths — and absorb upstream API and schema changes without downstream teams noticing. Serve as escalation point for platform problems, with clear triage, communication and resolution. Participate in on-call [TBD: confirm a rotation exists and who else is in it], and write postmortems with owned, dated follow-ups that you close out. Maintain runbooks and architecture documentation so the platform is operable and defensible by more than one person. Review other engineers' infrastructure and deployment changes, and raise the bar through that review. What skills and experience do you need? Required You've established a platform, DevOps or infrastructure practice somewhere it didn't exist — as a founding platform engineer, an early infra hire, or the person who dragged a team onto real standards. You can point at conventions still in use that you wrote. Deep hands-on experience running production infrastructure in a major cloud — networking, IAM, compute, and the failure modes of each. Infrastructure as code in production at scale: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation or equivalent, including inheriting and refactoring someone else's modules. Owning CI/CD pipelines end to end, including test, scan and deploy gates. Containers and orchestration. Strong Python or Go for automation, tooling and debugging systems you didn't write. Practical infrastructure security: cloud configuration hardening, secrets management, dependency and vulnerability management, and least-privilege access design. Clear written communication, and the judgment to know when a standard should be enforced in a pipeline versus argued in a room. You'll be writing documentation engineers actually use and explaining risk to non-technical stakeholders. Strong SQL experience, ability to write queries within Snowflake and other BI tools. Hands-on security operations experience: log and audit analysis, alert triage, real incident response. Experience reviewing events within a SIEM. Experience with implementing and managing SAML/OIDC SSO and SCIM on internal-built tools and integrating such tools with identity providers such as Okta. Strong experience with secrets management, including OAuth, API, and JWT service account based integrations. Production iPaaS experience including repairing integrations you didn't write. Bias towards documentation — if you do something, write it down for others to reference. Nice to have Experience building an internal developer platform, or otherwise being on the team whose customers are other engineers. Experience operating LLM or agent infrastructure in production — MCP servers, RAG pipelines, semantic layers, or AI tooling connected to enterprise data. Familiarity with AI-specific security risks: prompt injection, tool-use abuse, data leakage through model context, and the controls that mitigate them. iPaaS or orchestration experience: Workato, Airflow, dbt, MuleSoft or similar. Detection engineering or SIEM exposure (Splunk, Panther, Datadog Security or similar). Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse operations, including cost and performance tuning. Background/experience supporting a GTM or revenue organization. Gong, HubSpot, Outreach or similar GTM tooling and their data models. Master data management, entity resolution, customer data platforms. Comfortable with pipeline, ARR and product-adoption metrics. What this role is not This is not primarily an internal tools building role. GTM Engineers build the tools. You build and secure what they run on. You'll write plenty of code — it's infrastructure, tooling and automation code. This is not a customer-facing product role. You won't be working on the Front product or its production infrastructure. This is not a research or model-training role. You won't be fine-tuning models or publishing papers. This is not a standards-on-paper role. You'll define the practices, but you also build them, enforce them in the pipeline, and operate what you've built. If you're looking for architecture or GRC work that hands off to an implementation team, this isn't it — there is no implementation team. This is not a role where you inherit someone else's playbook. We're not asking you to follow our standards. We're asking you to write them. How we'll measure success First 30 days You've mapped the estate: what runs where, who can reach it, what's provisioned by hand, and where the sharpest edges are. You've told us what you think is wrong with it and what you'd do differently. First 90 days A first version of our internal platform standards exists, is written down, and has buy-in from the teams who have to follow it. You've closed the top three risks you found. Core infrastructure is defined in code, secrets are centralized with a rotation cadence, and a GTM Engineer can deploy a new internal tool through a documented path without your involvement. Contractors have the option to work from our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, when our teams are onsite. In-office attendance is optional and not required for this role. Front provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability. The Core Product Experience (CPX) team owns and elevates the heart of the Front application — the inbox and adjacent surfaces where frontline users triage and route conversations, collaborate with teammates, and craft high-quality replies. CPX's mission is to ensure that frontline and admin users can work more efficiently, with higher quality, and a happier day-to-day experience. The team's scope is broad, spanning everything from core inbox functionality (inboxes, message list, composer) to newer surfaces like calendar and contacts. CPX partners closely with Client Platform, AI, and other pods across Engineering to deliver cohesive, high-impact experiences. As Front continues to invest in AI-powered workflows, CPX is at the center of the product strategy. We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer with strong product and design sensibilities to help lead this work. You'll build and evolve the surfaces that the vast majority of Front interactions pass through — the inbox, messages, and composer — along with the services and systems that power them, driving projects that directly improve speed, quality, and usability for thousands of customers. This is not a 'build to spec' role. We want a senior engineer who helps shape what we build and why, leads delivery through ambiguity, and sets a high bar for engineering craft. You will work closely with Product and Design to define solutions, work through scope, risks, and open questions, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and ship experiences that are technically excellent and delightful to use. What will you be doing? Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact, complex initiatives. Own technical execution from problem framing and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration — across Front's client-side surfaces (Web, Desktop via Electron, and Mobile) and the backend services, APIs, and data systems behind them. Drive decisions and deliver reliably and on time. Drive technical direction across the stack. Influence architecture, state management, API design, and performance strategy for high-traffic, distributed workflows like inbox triage, message rendering, and composition — reasoning across systems, services, and stacks to make sound tradeoffs. Champion UX craft and product thinking. Hold a high bar for interaction details, accessibility, and polish. Advocate for the user and improve experiences based on feedback and metrics. Partner deeply with Product and Design. Collaborate early to shape requirements, identify risks, surface open questions, propose alternatives, and align on tradeoffs. Communicate clearly and proactively with cross-functional stakeholders. Raise the bar for quality and maintainability. Improve testing, observability, and engineering standards across frontend and backend. Reduce regressions and enable faster iteration through better tooling and code health. Grow others and strengthen the team. Give and receive feedback well, provide mentorship and constructive code review, share best practices, and help create a collaborative, low-ego engineering culture. What skills and experience do you need? Strong fullstack experience, comfortable working across systems, stacks, and distributed systems rather than a single layer. A track record of leading projects and delivering complex work in a timely manner — driving decisions and working through ambiguity end to end. Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design to work through scope, risks, and open questions before and during delivery. Ability to give and receive feedback constructively. An agile, scrappy mindset — comfortable learning new technologies, adapting quickly, and doing what it takes to ship when the situation calls for it. Front operates on a hybrid model — we come together in the office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to collaborate and stay connected. What we offer Competitive salary Equity (we are post-series D & backed by some of the best VCs in the US) Private health insurance, including plan options at no cost to employees Paid parental leave Flexible time off policy Flexibility to work from home Monday and Friday, unless posted as a fully remote role Mental health support with Workplace Options Family planning support with Maven $100 per month Lifestyle Stipend to spend on fitness, health and wellness, and other activities Wellness Days - Fronteers get an additional day off on months with no holidays Winter Break - Our offices are closed from Christmas to New Year's Day! Own Front's API, MCP, and AI connectivity strategy — including how external AI agents and systems interact with Front Partner deeply with engineering to define platform primitives (APIs, webhooks, SDKs, developer portal, tooling) that are scalable, secure, easy to adopt, and tied to real world use cases Identify, prioritize, and solve the highest-leverage customer pain points through a mix of discovery, data, and hands-on feedback loops with the developers who build on Front Drive alignment across stakeholders (product, engineering, partnerships, security, data, infrastructure) and make clear tradeoffs to keep teams moving with velocity Define success metrics and build mechanisms to measure and iterate What skills and experience do you need? 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of technical products or platform-style initiatives Strong technical fluency and comfort working with APIs, developer tooling, and system design concepts (you can partner credibly with senior engineers) Proven ability to drive ambiguous, cross-functional work from problem definition through execution and adoption Strong prioritization instincts and a bias toward impact: you know when to invest in foundations vs. ship a pragmatic iteration Experience using data to guide decisions (instrumentation, funnels, usage metrics), paired with qualitative discovery AI fluency: you actively leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, synthesis, and execution, and you can evaluate where AI meaningfully improves developer workflows Front operates on a hybrid model — we come together in the office each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to collaborate and stay connected. The Role Backflip is looking for experienced Software Engineers with strong full-stack fundamentals to join our team. You'll build the APIs, services, and infrastructure behind our products and ship features end to end, ensuring they meet the reliability, security, and performance expectations of our enterprise customers. We'll look to you to be product-minded, think holistically about the end-user experience, and bring a hands-on blend of architecture, infrastructure, and product sense. As a small team, we're all generalists who work wherever the product needs us. We're looking for engineers who thrive on autonomy and individual responsibility, and who are happy to jump in across the codebase. This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco headquarters. What You’ll Do Design and build full-stack systems and the backend services, APIs, and infrastructure behind our products Take projects from ambiguous problem to shipped solution with minimal process Deploy products and ML models to production, and iterate quickly based on real customer feedback Develop integrations with CAD software, 3D tools, and other third-party applications Build the systems that make Backflip enterprise-ready: security, authentication, multi-tenancy, and observability Collaborate with the AI team to turn new model capabilities into shipped product Contribute to technical architecture, design reviews, and engineering best practices What We’re Looking For 4+ years of professional software engineering experience A strong generalist who can build, ship, and scale complex full-stack systems Experience architecting backend systems, services, APIs, and data flows, for reliability and scale Fluent in a modern backend stack (TypeScript, Node.js, Python, RESTful APIs, CI/CD) Able to build and ship user-facing features end to end, from data model to UI (TypeScript, React) Experience building secure, production systems for enterprise customers Pragmatic and product-minded. You balance speed and quality, and enjoy taking features from idea to shipped Bonus points for experience with ML, data, or search systems, building plugins for desktop CAD tools, or genuine excitement about the mechanical design space. You don't need to check every box. If you're a strong engineer who's excited about the problem, we'd love to hear from you. About Backflip Mechanical design, the work done in CAD, is the rate-limiter for progress in the physical world. However, there are only 2-4 million people on Earth who know how to CAD. But what if hundreds of millions could? What if creating something in the real world were as easy as imagining the use case, or sketching it on paper? Backflip is building a foundation model for mechanical design: unifying the world’s scattered engineering knowledge into an intelligent, end-to-end design environment. Our goal is to enable anyone to imagine a solution and hit “print.” Founded by a second-time CEO in the same space (first company: Markforged, exited for $2.1B), Backflip combines deep industry insight with breakthrough AI research. With investor Ashish Vaswani (transformer inventor), and backed by a16z and NEA, we raised a $30M Series A and built a deeply technical, mission-driven team.
